That morning around thirty students entered the exhibit. Half of them went to the middle of the room, mingling and chatting. The other half followed their teacher and inspected the installation.
Eventually, they were divided into teams of three to five students but another three wandered on their own, checking the guide texts too. After about a half hour, however, once all the seats were occupied they lost interest and began playing on their phones.
They had a small wondering smile when leaving, three stainless steel tension springs went missing and one student scratched “Alan” into the acrylic of one of the chairs. Just an ordinary day.
